This is where we step in

Insurance reconstruction is different.

A planned remodel starts with what you want to change. An insurance rebuild starts with what happened, what was there before and the work needed to put it back together.

Carrier estimates, adjuster questions, documentation requests and revisions can make an already stressful situation feel harder. Sometimes the next step isn’t clear—or the answer takes another follow-up.

ReConstruct began by specializing in rebuilding after damage. Our insurance reconstruction experience helps us organize the construction information, respond to scope questions and keep following up. We work to reduce avoidable delays and make the repair side easier to understand.

Clear expectations from the beginning

A repair plan grounded in reality.

01 / THE REPAIRS

Understand what needs to go back.

We document the home’s pre-loss materials and condition, then explain the construction scope and how it compares with the carrier’s estimate. Where something is missing, we provide the repair information needed for review.

02 / THE POLICY

Know who decides what is covered.

Your policy’s terms, limits, exclusions and deductible matter. Your carrier determines coverage and payment. We review the construction implications with you and identify questions to clarify with your adjuster or agent.

03 / YOUR CHOICES

Keep optional improvements clear.

Having a contractor in the house can be a good time for other improvements. We separate those choices and their costs from the insurance repair scope, rather than assuming your carrier will pay for them.

Your path from loss to rebuild

The right people.
At every step.

Insurance coordination and construction are connected. Our team stays involved through the handoffs, so you don’t have to assemble the process yourself.

After mitigation, the next chapter is reconstruction.
  1. Homeowner + onboarding specialist

    Start with you.

Tell us what happened, who is already involved and where things stand. Already working with a mitigation company or looking for another reconstruction estimate? You can start here.

  2. Documentation + mitigation coordination

    Build the pre-loss picture.

With your authorization, we collect the mitigation file, photos, existing estimates and available information about the materials and finishes that were there before the loss. Understanding what was there helps us plan what needs to go back.

  3. Estimator + carrier communication

    Get the repair scope right.

Our estimator documents the reconstruction work and pricing. We compare available carrier estimates, explain construction differences and submit supporting information for missing or revised work. We follow up on questions and requested documentation.

  4. Homeowner + selections + estimating

    Separate repairs from possibilities.

We review the planned repairs, carrier decisions and your financial responsibilities together. Want to change a finish or tackle another project while we’re there? We price optional improvements separately so you can make an informed decision.

  5. Project manager + construction team

    Bring the plan to life.

Once the scope, selections and authorizations are in place, your project manager coordinates the schedule, materials and trades. You have clear touchpoints as work moves forward, with construction documentation and carrier follow-up continuing when needed.

  6. Project team + homeowner

    Walk through it together.

We review the completed work with you, address the finishing details and provide available construction closeout documentation. The goal is a home put back together—and a clear understanding of what was done.

Follow-up is part of the process.

A claim-related project doesn’t always move in a straight line. Carrier questions, estimate revisions and documentation requests can overlap these stages. We keep working on the construction details and explain what is still waiting on a decision.

RECONSTRUCT / THE CONSTRUCTION

We put the repair plan together.

  • Document the pre-loss materials and repair needs
  • Prepare construction estimates and explain scope differences
  • Supply repair documentation and follow up on questions
  • Coordinate selections, scheduling and the work in your home
YOUR CARRIER / THE POLICY

They determine coverage and payment.

  • Review the loss against your policy’s terms
  • Determine which repairs are covered
  • Apply policy limits, exclusions and deductibles
  • Make coverage and claim payment decisions
What this means for you

We explain the construction side and help identify questions for your adjuster. We don’t decide coverage or promise a payout. Optional improvements are priced separately from the insurance repairs.
